中国・福州へ OBC to China

今回の国際ハンドキャリーのご依頼先は中国の福州でした。
中国では英語が通じにくいため、チケット１枚買うにも非常に苦労します。

Our recent On Board Courier mission took us to Fuzhou, China—where even simple tasks became tests of patience. In many parts of China, English is rarely spoken, making every step, from buying a train ticket to confirming directions, an exercise in creative communication.

Despite the hurdles, we ensured the secure and timely delivery of our client’s sensitive cargo. Another successful mission, thanks to persistence (and a lot of hand gestures)!

ほぼ全ての人が電子決済にて支払いを済ませるので、現金を使うと怪訝な顔をされました。

Visiting China again after several years felt like stepping into a completely different nation—the pace of development was astounding. Cash is nearly obsolete.

Almost everyone now uses mobile payments for everything, from street food to train tickets. When I tried paying with cash, I got puzzled looks—as if I’d pulled out a rotary phone in the age of smartphones.

China’s leap into a cashless society isn’t just impressive; it’s a glimpse into the future of digital economies.
